La scena PS2 creduta ormai morta, ritorna a farsi sentire. Lo sviluppatore rilascia una nuova versione dell'USB Loader PS2ESDL, in cui vi sono dei fix dell'homebrew. Questo homebrew serve ad avviare i giochi da hd esterni o pen drive collegabili alle porte USB della play. Per poter usare questo Homebrew è necessario avere Swap Magic o il FreeMCBoot.

* Changed Font properties/functions for all modes
* Max number of games+AVCHD in game modes 960(was 640)
* Max number of entries per XMMB column 3200
* Changed character limit for XMMB Settings column [selected option] to 36 (was 32 – now German/French fit)
